Bharat is an official remake of the Korean film, An Ode To My Father. The film depicts Indian history through the eyes of the common man. Besides Salman Khan, Bharat also stars Disha Patani, Katrina Kaif, Tabu, Jackie Shroff and Sunil Grover.
The film is led by Ali Abbas Zafar and after Tiger Zinda Hai’s success, it brings back Salman Khan-Katrina Kaif-Ali Abbas Zafar’s terrific trio. Bharat will hit this year’s big screens during Eid.
Earlier, talking about the film, producer Atul Agnihotri had said, “It’s a country’s journey and also a person, both of whom go by the name of Bharat. That film is just our starting point, but since it was an inspiration, we wanted it to be officially owned and acquired remake rights before going forward with Bharat.”
